Trenton XC competed in the Downriver Gabriel Richard Invite this past Saturday on a beautiful fall day. Teams from the Downriver League and surrounding areas competed for the chance to claim an “All-Area” title. On the girls side, our runners raced competitively, passing their competitors continuously throughout the race and moving up in position. The girls accumulated three new SB’s and two new PR’s. Jamie Glatfelter (5th) and Avalina Williamson (13th) both earned medals and the “All-Area” distinction. The boys were similarly fierce competitors with several runners having stunning PR’s, hitting milestone times or improving by upwards of a full minute. The boys accumulated one new SB and five new PR’s. It was a fantastic showing for the Trojans and hints at further success for the few remaining meets of the season.
