The second Downriver League Jamboree of the season took place yesterday afternoon at Willow Metropark. The team was filled with positivity energy headed into the race, and they let that show in their performances. There were several finishes that came down the final kick in the chute, creating a very exciting race to watch. Three new personal records (Xochitl Carrillo, Brooke Bullard, Lucas Mosley) and one season best (Brooke Cunningham) were earned as a result. The girls team held their league standing in 5th place while the boys fell to 8th, coming up one point shy of Lincoln Park. Final league standings will be determined after the DRL Championship on October 16th.
